Members of the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd have joined forces for a new single to benefit earthquake victims in Nepal.
Mick Jagger and Ron Wood as well as Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason appear on "Listen To Your Heart," which was recorded this week at Abbey Road Studios and will benefit the Save The Children's Nepal Earthquake Appeal. British R&B singer Beverly Knight sings the lead vocal and said in a statement that, "The terrible events in Nepal show just how vulnerable our fellow man can be in the face of nature. My hope is that process of this song will go some way to kelp raise urgently needed funds to repair homes and restore lives."
The Stones have promoted the song via their social media, explaining Save The Children is "assessing needs and supporting local medical staff by providing surgery to those who need it most and our teams are delivering immediate life-saving help such as shelter kits and clean water."
More about the song can be found at SaveTheChildren.org.uk.
